To further protect the structure, joist protection tape was installed across the existing framing, helping reduce moisture penetration where the decking boards meet the joists. The deck was secured using 316 marine-grade stainless steel fixings, offering exceptional corrosion resistance and making them ideal for Burleigh Heads’ coastal environment.
