Project overview

Nestled in the bushland surrounds of Tamborine, this project was designed and constructed for a home located within a Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) designated area. Our goal was to create a premium outdoor entertaining space using durable, lowmaintenance materials suited to the property’s unique environment.

To achieve this, we installed a Spantec galvanised steel subframe, James Hardie™ Deck boards, and powder-coated aluminium pool fencing. Together, these materials provide exceptional durability, bushfire resilience, termite resistance and long-term performance with minimal maintenance.

Because this home is located in a BAL (Bushfire Attack Level) designated area, choosing the right building materials was essential.

The Spantec galvanised steel framing system provides outstanding structural strength while eliminating concerns associated with timber, such as termite damage and decay. James Hardie™ Deck is a non-combustible fibre cement decking system, making it an excellent choice for homes in bushfire-prone environments. The powder-coated aluminium pool fencing complements the project by providing a durable, corrosionresistant and low-maintenance pool barrier.
